Katch 1… Art Show For the Locals
On August 22nd, Katch recently made his way back across the pacific to Prototype, in Honolulu, Hawaii, for his first ever art show on the island.
Works included hand drawn skateboards, printed NK skateboards with the original art right next to them, canvases with embedded clocks that functioned, huge fish scenes, Goliath the super security guard VS Bob Gnarly, aliens searching for pools, crazy mushrooms, impatient rats, shaolin dudes on camels, and drunk fish.
Old schoolers and new schoolers from all over the island showed up and Katch sat down and signed black books anf NK posters for three hours. Hawaii’s own Slick even made a star appearance on his way back from Japan.
Work will stay up for two months and will also be shown in Prototype’s new location in Ala Moana center. You might still make it you hurry.
